After crossing the 5,220-meter-high Gazola Mountain Pass, tourists soon arrive in Tingri County. Tingri County is divided into old and new. Old Tingri was the seat of Dingri County government before 1968, that is, Gangga Township today; while New Tingri has become the political, economic and cultural center of Tingri County, where tourists basically stop for a short time and which is only 60 kilometers away from Everest Base Camp. Mt Everest Location
