Online book publishing services are convenient, but they rarely cover everything a writer might need. Most platforms handle formatting, distribution, and sometimes cover design, but areas like marketing strategy, advanced editing, or personalized promotion often fall on the author. Writers still need to invest time in building an audience, crafting a strong brand, and managing publicity if they want their book to truly succeed. So while these services simplify the publishing process, they’re not a complete “set it and forget it” solution!
